By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. You also agree that you will NEVER post or refer to any spam; including but not limited to making money schemes, affiliate links, etc.

The owners of Lil Hangout reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Although the administrators and moderators of Lil Hangout will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Lil Hangout, nor it's affiliates, will be held responsible for the content of any message.

We welcome you and encourage all to participate as much as possible to strengthen this "Lil' Hangout" community with respect to the following community guidelines.

Community Guidelines:

1. No Spamming! We deserve a place to meet without being barraged by commercial messages. Do not use the forums for advertising. No advertisements either in the post nor in the signature. No posting messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, forums, email address, business, MLM, activity, or other entities that you have an affiliation with (ie. no self-promotion). A few special areas have been designated for such purposes and are so labeled:
   • Classifieds: Do not post illegal stuff, stuff that does not belong to you, scam offers, etc! We are NOT responsible for ads in our classifieds area. Utilize at your own risk. Members are solely responsible for their ads. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for any and all transactions. All ads will be moderated before they appear. No Trading outside the classifieds area: This site is not a market place.
   • Links: Do not post links to illegal material, inappropriate stuff, scam offers, and absolutely No No No No affiliate links!
     If you have your own website or blog you may post the link in your profile in the appropriate field already designated for your home page and you may put it in your signature. Do not post links to illegal material, inappropriate stuff, scam offers, and absolutely No No No No affiliate links!
   • Places: You may post a "LOCAL" business here. You must supply the address including the zip code. All businesses will be moderated before they appear.
   If you are interested in advertising in any other area not mentioned above, then you must pay for it.
   
   
2. You are not allowed to have more than one username at any time.
3. No falsified names or fake posts.
4. We do not verify the identity of people using our Site, and you assume the risk of accepting or rejecting the truthfulness and accuracy of any information you come across. You understand that we are not responsible for the truth, completeness, objectivity, or usefulness of any content posted by members ("Member Content"), nor do we endorse any Member Content.
5. No posting of email ID's, IM handles, Phone numbers, Home address, etc. by any member in public accessible areas. If you want to communicate, kindly do so by using the Private Messenger. We strongly advise you to not give out these personal details in PM's to people you do not know in person, either. Be smart and stay safe! You take full responsibility to avoid posting personal information or any other information that clearly identifies an individual poster.
6. NEVER EVER REQUEST PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM ANY MEMBER!
7. All members must be treated in a respectful and adult manner. All members should respect and adhere to the promotion of harmony within the community. Do not attempt to disrupt the community in any way. Abusive language, insults, harassment, and personal attacks will not be tolerated. You agree not to post any material that is illegal, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, threatening, invasive of another person's privacy, spam, or a violation of copyright. You agree that the administrators and moderators of this site have the right to remove, edit, move or lock any material on the site, at any time for any reason. However, it is impossible for said administrators and moderators to review every message for objectionable content. Therefore you acknowledge that such content expresses the views and opinions of the author only, and the administrators and moderators will not be held liable.
8. No "Trolling". Please do not post any topic that disrupts the peace and harmony of this board. Don't create meaningless threads with the sole purpose of starting a dispute. This includes messages in profiles and signatures.
9. In posting/uploading to our forums, blogs, galleries, and/or any other part of our website, you guarantee to us that you have legal rights to post your material and it will not violate any law or the rights of any person. DO NOT post/upload illegal, stolen, copyrighted, and/or inappropriate content. You hereby agree that when posting/uploading any material on our Site, you give us the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to use, publish, copy, distribute, display, sublicense, edit, modify, and create derivative works from the content you post, without further permission required from you.
10. No "Spamming". Please do not double post or cross-post the same message in multiple forums. You will not mass-PM or mass-email multiple members of this site with the same message. You will not post for the sake of increasing your post count.
11. No "Bumping" (Your threads/posts): Please do not repeatedly bump your threads to try and get attention. Most members of the site are not online 24 hours a day and so will not see your post the instant it is made. Do not bump a thread within 24 hours, and not more than twice a week.
12. No "Bumping" (Other’s threads/posts): Before replying to a thread, take notice of the last post date. Try and avoid replying to posts more than 6 months old. If you have a similar question and cannot find the answer, create your own thread.
13. Generally LH follows categorization rules, where you are expected to raise relevant query or post in relevant forum board. However if we find any Thread/Post mis-classified we will quietly move it to the proper place.
14. No Private Messages to admin. All questions should be raised at the appropriate forum or through our contact form.
15. Staff decisions are final. Ultimately, staff has complete discretion over what is and is not acceptable on the site.
16. Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision, please take it up in private with a member of the site administration team. Also we do not permit rating or comparison with other sites. We however, let members critically review, evaluate and help us improve with our own standards and previous status.
17. We reserves the right to take appropriate measures including but not limited to; delete, split, warn, or edit the content; blocking the member from accessing any of our websites, posting to any or all of our message boards, blogs or other areas; and/or revoking the person's membership for any member behavior we determine is damaging to our community.

Freedom of Speech?
The constitution of the USA guarantees that “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech”. Guess what? Lil' Hangout is not Congress! Freedom of speech rights do not extend to this privately owned website. The Guidelines/Rules and the TOS of this website governs the behaviors and activities of the members. If you choose not to follow them, the result is a disabling of your account.
